Photography by Cork Graham @ www.CORKGRAHAM.com
In 1983, at the ripe age of 18, Cork Graham left for Southeast Asia to become a combat photographer for the Associated Press, by the age of 20, he had not only become the first American political prisoner held by the Socialist Republic of Vietnam since the Fall of Saigon in 1975, but had participated in over 30 full combat operations in Laos, Honduras and El Salvador. By the time he was lucky enough to reach 22, Cork had added Guatemala and Nicaragua to his list of 'been there, done that!'.
These are some of the photos of those experiences in Central America.
NOTE: Many of the photos offered for sale in this gallery not only have solid dramatic impact, but have up until this time been seen by no more than five people at the most!
Unless otherwise noted, all pieces are 11"X14" images set in a mat and frame of 16"X20", and signed by Cork Graham ALONG WITH the "LIMITED EDITION IDENTIFIER": 1 of 10, 2 of 20, etc.

SPECIAL NOTE: What gave Cork Graham the idea to offer his photos for sale was a conversation with his friend, Joe Galloway (Joe and Cork will be co-writing a script this fall that ties an almost completely lost, but mind-blowing, true-life story that ties Hollywood and Vietnam in an ironic twist during the late 1960/early 1970s, so stay tuned!), about his own photo gallery for his and Gen. Moore's bestselling book, 'We Were Soldiers Once...and Young'. Cork highly recommends you visit and review Joe's fine photos by clicking on the following link: Joe Galloway's We Were Soldiers Photo Gallery
A true believer in Robert Capa's 'If in doubt, get closer,' Cork especially loves Joe's B&W photo of Maj. Charles Beckwith, founder of Delta Force (Print #2) and for nostalgia's sake (Racquel Welch, Ann Margret and Joey Heatherton with Bob Hope), that photo of Joey Heatherton, what a hottie!
